Anya-Josephine Marie Taylor-Joy (born April 16, 1996 in Miami, Florida, United States, and raised in Argentina and England) is an actress known for her starring roles in the horror films The Witch, Split, The Menu, the period romantic comedy film Emma, and the Netflix miniseries The Queen's Gambit, the last of which she received several accolades for, including a Golden Globe Award and a Primetime Emmy Award nomination.
In a Nintendo Direct broadcasted on September 23, 2021, it was announced that Taylor-Joy would voice Peach in The Super Mario Bros. Movie co-produced by Illumination.[1]
